01E - Unarmed Security Officer Course

An unarmed security officer/courier means any person who performs the functions of observation, detection, reporting, or notification of appropriate authorities or designated agents regarding persons or property on the premises that individual is contracted to protect, and who does not carry or have access to a firearm in the performance of their duties.
05E & 75E - Armed Security Officer Course

01E PREREQUISITE - An armed security officer means a natural person employed to safeguard and protect persons and property
or deter theft, loss, or concealment of any tangible or intangible personal property on the premises he is contracted to protect,
and who carries or has access to a firearm in the performance
of his duties.
01E, 05E & 75E - Armed Security Officer
Course (50 hours - $315)
An armed security officer means a natural person employed to safeguard and protect persons and property or deter theft, loss, or concealment of any tangible or intangible personal property on the premises he is contracted to protect, and who carries or has access to a firearm in the performance of his duties.
09E - Advance Handgun Course
(14 Hours - $275)
Advanced handgun training - required for the entry-level personal protection specialist who wishes to have firearms endorsement and optional for other armed registrants. The entry level handgun training is a prerequisite for taking the advanced handgun training.

02E - Private Investigator Course
(60 hours - $600)
A private investigator means any individual who engages in the business of, or accepts employment to make, investigations to obtain information on crimes or civil wrongs; the location, disposition, or recovery of stolen property; the cause of accidents, fires, damages, or injuries to persons or to property; or evidence to be used before any court, board, officer, or investigative committee.
DCJS Approved Alternate General Instructor Development Course (13E)
The General Instructor Development Course is an intensive 40-hour course conducted over the course of five (5) days, with approximately 20 hours of additional after-hours work. It consists of five primary subject areas: the adult learner, the instructor role, lesson preparation, presentation and application. Candidates in this exercise should be self-disciplined, independent participants, able to work in groups of various sizes, complete thoroughly each assigned task in a timely manner.
30E - Electronic Security Core Subject
(4 Hours - $70)
An electronic security technician assistant means an individual who works as a laborer under the supervision of the electronic security technician in the course of their normal duties, but who may not make connections to any electronic security equipment.
25E - Locksmith Course
(18 Hours - $400)
A locksmith means any individual that performs locksmith services, or advertises or represents to the general public that the individual is a locksmith even if the specific term locksmith is substituted with any other term by which a reasonable person could construe that the individual possesses special skills relating to locks or locking devices, including use of the words lock technician, lockman,
safe technician, safeman, boxman, unlocking technician, lock installer and lock opener.
